Triceps Pushdown

How to perform

  1. Stand close enough to the cable station to keep a stable posture.
  2. Start with the elbows bent and close to your sides.
  3. Extend the elbows until the arms are straight without forcing the joints.
  4. Return the handle upward under control.

Tips

  • Keep the upper arms relatively still.
  • Choose a grip that lets you maintain comfortable wrist alignment.

Common mistakes

  • Using bodyweight to swing the attachment down.
  • Letting the elbows travel dramatically forward and backward.
