How to perform

  1. Set the seat and foot position so your hips and lower back remain supported.
  2. Release the safety mechanism and lower the platform under control.
  3. Descend as far as you can while maintaining your position.
  4. Press the platform away without aggressively locking the knees.

  • Use a foot position that feels stable and allows controlled depth.
  • Keep the hips and lower back connected to the pad.

Common mistakes

  • Allowing the hips to roll off the pad at the bottom.
  • Locking the knees aggressively under heavy load.
